Our mission is to provide access to top welding training and development for beginners through to intermediate welders In the UK.

Our purpose as a welding training provider is to support the skills, needs, and ambitions of individual welders and their employers. We want to drive the training and development of the welding community and grow the local and national industry.

Whether you want to upskill to become a precision welder, or you have an interest in fabrication, or you just want to learn as a hobby, we offer flexible training program run by highly qualified CSWIP welding instructors.

Accreditations

Training courses for all levels

Our welding training courses are designed to help all levels of welder currently in the UK, whether you are completely new to welding and looking for a new career, welding at an intermediate level, or looking for an advanced and highly skilled level of training.

Choose from levels 1-3 for complete beginners through to experienced welders, or simply brush up on your skills or gain valuable qualifications with our intensive welding day training to gain Codings for ASME Ix, BS EN 9606 or BS 4872 in aluminium, low carbon steel or stainless steel.

Training can take place on sheet, plate or pipe depending on the individual or company requirements. If you’re unsure of which course to choose, just get in touch with us and we will be happy to offer you no-obligation advice for your skill level and needs.

Intensive training courses

All of our courses are intensive and packed full of the skills and knowledge you need to advance your welding skill level. We tailor our courses to ensure that you leave our centre welding with confidence in this craft. We know that the need for training can sometimes be urgent, so we start all of our training courses every Monday so you’ll never be left waiting too long for your course to begin.

How we became The Welding Academy

We started out small, simply providing training at customers sites, but slowly the demand for quality welders grew and with it the demand for quality welder training. Because of this demand, we decided to develop a training centre focused solely on welding and fabrications.

With our new fully-kitted out welding training centre, we were able to offer more courses and help to train more welders through apprenticeships and provide qualifications through courses accredited by City and Guilds, EAL, and Welder codings.

Our company mission became ‘to be the Welding and Fabrication training provider of choice for the industry, by raising the profile of the trade and increasing opportunities for the workforce through training and professional development. To provide top training and development at an accessible rate to help grow and drive the national industry.’
